Glasgow has some daily services to the US through Continental Airlines, and Emirates fly daily to Dubai. The most common route is to and from London, where connections to the world are available. KLM has regular flights to Amsterdam from Glasgow International Airport.

A frequent shuttle bus can drop you off at both of the main railway stations; the journey takes about 20 minutes. There is also the slower and less frequent standard bus service. Glasgow International Airport also has long term parking available.

If you are flying through Glasgow International Airport, you may wish to book a hotel which is nearby. The Holiday Inn Express Glasgow Airport is only 2 minutes walk from the main terminal building, with a covered walkway and the free use of airport trolleys. For a city centre hotel Glasgow has a huge offering, such as the modern Glasgow Pond Hotel in the West End, or for a more traditional hotel you could try the family-run Argyll Hotel, situated close to the SECC and Kelvingrove Art Gallery.
